Studio Guidelines & Policies

STUDIO GUIDELINES 

  • Doors are unlocked 15 minutes prior to the start of class, and locked promptly at class start time

  • Please silence your phone and leave it with your personal items

  • Selfies are welcomed after class!

  • We do not have yoga mats available for rent, but we do have meditation cushions for use (no rental fee!)

  • You can sign into your Momence account through our website, or use the Momence app to manage your bookings and cancellations

  • As a group wellness facility, we kindly ask that you do not attend class if you are feeling under the weather

  • Masks are no longer required but are always welcomed

  • Our studio may be scented with essential oils or incense

  • We have zero tolerance for abusive and discriminatory language and action toward our teachers or other students

BOOKING POLICY

  • Please prebook your classes via our website or the Momence app

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class

  • We require a credit card on file for all bookings in the case of a late cancel or no-show

WAITLIST POLICY

  • If class is full, you may sign up on the wait list. Often times, there are cancellations and you will be able to get in to the class

  • You will be automatically added to the class up to 1 hour before class starts and notified via email

  • If you get added from the wait list and are unable to attend, please cancel yourself out of the class

  • Within 1 hour of class start time, you will no longer be added from the wait list

LATE POLICY

  • We start and end class together and appreciate you arriving on time

  • We know life happens! If something comes up last minute and you are unable to make it, please contact us at hello@theshalawindsor.com and we’re happy to work it out

NO-SHOW & CANCELLATION POLICY

We have a 2 hour cancellation policy for regular group yoga and meditation classes. For passes to be credited back to your account, please cancel at least 2 hours prior to class. In the case of a late cancel (less than 2 hours prior to class start) or no-show:

  • Class Passes: the class will be deducted as if you had attended class. To avoid this charge, please make sure to cancel outside of our 2 hour cancellation window.

  • Intro & Unlimited Memberships: you will not be charged for your first late cancel/no-show each month. Subsequent late cancels/no-shows will be charged the drop-in rate.

  • Privates and Workshops: as these are privately held, each teacher has their own policies and procedures. Please ask the teacher directly.

REFUND & EXPIRATION POLICY

  • We do not offer refunds on drop-ins, Class Passes, Memberships, workshops, or retail

  • All Class Passes expire 12 months from purchase date

TRANSFERS

  • All Class Passes and Memberships are non-transferrable

  • To purchase a class for a friend, use the “Reserve # of spots” option in Momence to book multiple spots at once

  • We do offer Class Passes and Memberships as gifts! Contact hello@theshalawindsor.com for assistance

LOST & FOUND

  • The Shala Yoga & Meditation Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items, yoga mats are stored at your own risk

  • Lost & Found items will be kept for one month, after which they will be donated :)
